A Long History in Marketing Research 

Andy Bloom began learning and conducting marketing research as a college freshman. While studying research at Marquette University, Andy was conducting music research calls from the basement of one of Milwaukee's popular radio stations. By his Junior year, Andy developed and implemented the call center for WQFM. The research drove the station to the top of the ratings in Milwaukee. By the time he
Graduated college, Andy was conducting focus groups and quantitative telephone image studies.

Involved in a Wide Range of Research Topics

Andy has conducted and presented research beyond the U.S. and Canada. In addition he has been involved in media research in places as diverse as the Middle East, South America and Eastern Europe. Andy has experience with political polling and research for a wide range of consumer products.

Actionable Research

Andy takes pride in designing research that provides actionable data. He served as the in-house research expert for Infinity Broadcasting working in most of its major markets. Andy's research led to stations such as WOMC. Detroit changing to Oldies and WLIF, Baltimore to AC, both with tremendous success.

Andy Bloom served as Executive Vice President for Coleman Research where he designed, conducted, analyzed, wrote and presented to dozens of the nation's leading stations across format boundaries. In this capacity he presented data to local stations and in C-Suites and boardrooms.

As a media consultant Andy has overseen qualitative and quantitative projects for dozens of radio stations. Under his Andy Bloom Communications banner, he worked with the government, (Broadcast Board of Governors) on audience research and development. Andy Bloom Communications also conducted consumer research. Each of these consumer research projects resulted in strategic plans that increased market share and revenues.

Andy also excels in data analysis from primary sources, including government, and audience measurement disciplines.

Andy has presented his research findings to CEOs, business leaders and Members of Congress. He has presented in C-Suites, boardrooms, large industry gatherings and in foreign countries.
